Oxygen Eventworks works with experiential agencies, event companies and in-house brand teams. We design and fabricate the scenic pieces, then light, sound, video and stage the event. The crews are in New York and Miami.

Work / Liberty Island

Sole AV vendor on Liberty Island

For the May 2019 opening of the Statue of Liberty Museum, Oxygen spent over a year preparing the production as the sole AV vendor. The work brought together sound, lighting, video, staging, design and engineering across a multi-acre site.

In 2024 the New York team added custom fabrication to the lighting, sound, video and staging it already ran. Pre-production starts weeks out, with 3-D views and CAD. The people who plan the cues are on site for the show.

About / Where it started

Clubs first. Then the larger rooms.

The company began in 2005 as Oxygen Lightworks, lighting nightclubs in the Meatpacking District, and took the name Oxygen Eventworks as sound, video and staging were added. Dance parties are still where the team tests gear before it is used on a brand job. For a difficult building, power distribution and generation are part of the job. Our work spans spaces from the top of the Empire State Building to an abandoned cathedral.
